“Noisy. They talk constantly. To each other, to their devices, to me. Sometimes they sing. Sometimes they cry. I prefer silence. Clumsy. They trip over nothing. They drop things. They spill drinks. I have never once fallen off a ledge. Emotionally chaotic. They laugh, then cry, then laugh again. I find this exhausting. Despite their flaws, humans do share snacks. This redeems them slightly.”
